Organised by the Nanoforum and Metu-Center projects, both funded under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6), the workshop on nanostructured materials will focus on semiconductor nanostructures, magnetic nanoparticles and catalysts. The workshop will cover fabrication of semiconductor nanostructures by ion implantation, sputtering, CVD and MBE in dielectric matrices on various surfaces and their applications in microelectronic, photonics and biotechnology; production of nano particles and thin films using sol-gel processing methods; processing and manipulation of nanostructures; electrical, magnetic, optical and chemical properties and device applications.
