3. The 1st International INSIDE POReS Workshop, 19th - 23rd March 2006, La Grande Motte, France
The Workshop objective is to discuss the state of the art on in situ characterisation and monitoring of nanoporous materials, during their preparation and use as sorbents, catalysts and in membrane processes, and in novel processes including energy conversion and storage and sensing applications. Methodologies for the synthesis of nanoporous solids will be discussed.
The Workshop will contribute to the spread of scientific knowledge from the EC Network of Excellence INSIDE POReS and provide training at doctoral and postdoctoral levels in processes involving nanoporous materials, their preparation, and in situ and ex situ characterisation. As a focal point for scientists and technicians working in the field of porous materials, the Workshop is open to all Core and Satellite Partners of the INSIDE POReS NoE and other scientists working in the field.
