Conference on Security Research, Vienna, 20-21 February 2006

In the first days of February, the European Commission will publish the third and final Call for Proposals of the Preparatory Action for Security Research (PASR-2006). The call has a budget of 15 M€ and will be open until early May.

Detailed information for the submission of proposals will be made available on http://www.cordis.lu/security/.

The Commission will also offer a dedicated information event to interested parties on 21 February 2006, soon after publication of the call. It will be included in the "Conference on Security Research" in Vienna on 20-21 February 2006 (http://www.bmvit.gv.at/src), and it will provide an opportunity to get first hand information from the European Commission representatives - both on its scope and objectives as well as on the participation rules.
