Abstract.
The utilization of graphite like carbon source in Fe powders alloy for sintered steels elaboration gave some deficiency looking for the chemical and structural homogenous of these steels because the pronounced segregation tendency of graphite and that have a negative reflect on the utilization characteristics of these materials. The graphite replacement with carbide alloy with Fe powder represent an alternative to technological process meaning the carbide decomposition on heating and the carbon release, that represent the thermal diffusion in Fe matrix assuring the good chemical and structural homogeneity of the sintered steels. In paper are presented the experimental researches results about the Fe3C elaboration using Fe powder carburization and much more, the elaboration using mechanical alloy of some Fe+Fe3C composites nanopowders.
