Abstract.
A siloxane-organic polymer was used as sensing element in a gas sensor device. The sensor was made by thick film technology. An alumina substrate 6
´6´0.6 mm was used. An interdigitated electrode array was screen-printed on the substrate by Au conductive ink. The sensor tested at a concentration of 100 ppm CO2 and NOx provided a voltage of 70 and 4 mV, respectively, after 10 minutes gas exposure. The polymer was dissolved in chloroform and deposed by spin coating as a sensitive layer on the substrate over electrode.
