Size Effects Controlling the Toxicity and Energetics of Nanostructured Oxide Materials
S. TANASESCU, C. MARINESCU

Abstract. Presently, the tendency for scientists to look at the nanoparticles for their possible benefits raises many issues about how small-scaled particles affect larger-scaled systems, such as the environment and even the human body. Some aspects regarding the effect of changing a substance’s properties when working at the nano-level are presenting in the present paper. A focus will be given to nano-metal oxides emphasizing on the particle size effects on the energetic parameters.
