Artificial Chaperones Improve Kinetics of the Denatured Enzymes
A. C. Laslo, E. Ganea

Abstract. The kinetics of artificial chaperone-assisted refolding process of the two chemically–denatured enzymes, leucine aminopeptidase and xanthine oxidase was investigated by evaluation of two kinetics parameters: Michaelis–Menten constant and maximum velocity. The kinetics of the recovered enzymes was significantly improved by chaperones, with some specific features of each enzyme.
