NANOMETRIC MAGNETIC MULTILAYERS WITH GIANT MAGNETRORESISTANCE EFFECT (GMR) AND SPIN DEPENDENT TUNNELLING EFFECT (TMR) FOR SPINTRONICS

Abstract. The systems in spintronics are based on association of magnetic metals and nonmagnetic metals, isolators, semiconductors. The ferromagnetic and nonmagnetic layers with few nm thicknesses, have the conduction governed by spin scattering effects. Another subject of paper are the diluted magnetic semiconductors (DMS) as GaAs or InAs with substitution of Mn+ ions. The coupling between the magnetic ions is made by superexchange interaction.
