Nano2Life in brief

N2L provides a frame to improve European competitiveness in nanobiotech by integrating excellent organisations, offering access to the largest and most advanced multidisciplinary expertise, facilities and know-how.
Integration is achieved by coordinating research, training and communication in academia and industry.
The envisioned permanent European Institute of Nanobiotech will guarantee long term integration.

Objectives of Nano2Life

To tackle fragmentation: 5 clusters today; No european organisation;

To durably integrate organisations: Long term effort

To interface two worlds: nano and bio: No chance that a Med. Doctor meets a physicist, or a chemist or a biologist!

To make EU an international leader: Good science but poor commercialisation

To translate science into economic benefits: Significant commitment of companies;
Shortest transfer from academia to industry;

To educate society about nanobiotech: Don’t repeat the GMO scenario again;
