Abstract.
We proposed in vivo checking of the possibility to use collagenic scaffolds loaded with condroblastes for articular condral defects repair on dogs. Evaluation of the healing process was made at 110 days by arthroscopic by joint clinical exam. Used scaffolds have the capacity to mimic natural extracellular cartilage matrix. The quality of postimplanted resulted cartilage is, in the same time, correlated with lack of postimplantation osteolysis process and mild intra-articular synovial reactions. The macroscopically aspects are one of a hyaline cartilage. Based on obtained data at 110 control days, we consider that another way of fixation should be considered.
