MEMS-TUNABLE PHASE SHIFTER AND POWER DIVIDER FOR RECONFIGURABLE ANTENNAS

Abstract. In modern communication systems special interest is being devoted to reconfigurable and tuneable devices for both military and commercial applications. The application of MEMS technology in the field of RF/microwave circuits allows one to achieve unprecedented levels of performance. In this paper two innovative designs of MEMS-reconfigurable circuits are presented. Specifically, MEMS based implementations of a power divider and of a matched loaded line phase shifter are illustrated.
