Abstract. Bio(nano)composites obtained by melt mixing polypropylene with microcrystalline and microfibrillated cellulose have been studied. The influence of cellulose reinforcement on morphological characteristics and physico-mechanical properties of biocomposites has also been evaluated. The treatment of cellulose microfibrils are found to influence the properties of final biocomposites.
